Hey, Today I got on my bike started it up and took it easy till she was warm....got it good and hot...gave her the beans...and it was running very well....all of a sudden...it dies..so I changed the plug...starts for 5 seconds...plop..... troubleshooted it for a while, Then suddenly realized that i was having some carburator issues...once i got it running again, it was running at a high idle and missing like crazy. All of a sudden..SHE JUST OPENED THE THROTTLE FULL BLAST! the damn bike just out of no where went to the ABSOLUTE MAX RPMs possible...I Shut off the engine switch...didnt do anything... so i jumped on it.. threw it in gear and took off for one hell of a ride....I had to go from 1st to 6st....and kill it.... So I immediatly took it around back and pulled off the carb. I took off the bowl and cleaned it all out with carb and choke cleaner... Afterwords, i flooded it trying to start it...turned off the fuel switch, and kept kicking until i cleared it out...got it running and slowly turned on the fuel...It runs better than ever now.. but what would cause my engine to just wrap out like it did? I didnt even touch the throttle...It has a good tank of Quick Trip gasoline. Its mixed around 38:1...Did the floats stick and just pour fuel? It really freaked me out...cause I was for sure she was gonna POP. but thank god its ok...
