well i got the jets slipped in the 300 just to start. I dont have room to plug chop (cant go wot through 5th or 6th gear). So it runns but sometimes when i go wot it cuts out sounds like a street bike hittin its rev limiter? what would cause that

that means the 300 is too big. ure supposed to work ur way down duder. now go to the next size u have. 290 and down
k and after i put the jet in i started it and it revved up a lil and acted like my thumb was holding the gas in a lil and then just idled down like normal??? wierd air leak? but i never even took off the boot.
and it seems harder to start for some wierd reason it usually take 1 kick 2 at most but now its 2 or 3 everytime its not warmed up? that shouldnt have anything to do with the main jet so idk ill probably get the main tuned in good then start adjusting the air screw and idle etc...

yea when change jets u always gotta toy with the air screw too. it should be between 1 and 2.5 turns out. anything more or less u need to change ur pilot. or try raising the clip on the needle
