bought a carb rebuild kit, theres 2 parts in kit i'm not sure where they go in carb.
!. the metal washer, does that go between the main jet fuel splash guard and main nozzle? think it shows that in blaster manual, but there wasn't one there when i disassembled the carb.

2. where does this narrow thickness o-ring go? under plate(2 screws) that secures main needle jet in top of slide?? doesn't show it in blaster manual carb breakdown.

Also bought the tors eliminator kit idle adjuster kit. thats in, thinking of putting a tiny oring under the lock nut for it to be sure no air leaks around tthe threads on it. Plus i got the new throttle cable with the cap for tors elimination.

Thanks in advance for the help.

That small washer is the one that goes on the main jet and I think the big O ring is for the carb cap. I'm not 100% on this.

I stand corrected, you are correct stocher vm26ss carbs have no drain bolt.
I would have to agree with you that the o-ring would then have to be used
on the slide cap.

There is a drain screw in bowl on stock carbs. think thats where you hook up line to do fuel level check. O-ring is about he same size as inside diameter of slide.

Thanks for that about washer. Like i said wasn't one there when disassmbled, so i was just wanting to be sure, before i put float bowl back on. O-ring i know doesn't go inside of carb, will check when i put carb on motor in frame and install slide. Hows to be somewheres in cap or top of slide bore.

I would have to say the O-Ring goes on the inside of the cap for sure. I've had my carb apart a few times lately and I did notice that there is an O-Ring there. I will say though, I have a Mikuni carb, but I don't think that makes a difference, ya still need to keep the gas and air coming in the right places, not through the cap.

Any stock carb with or without TORS uses a flat rubber washer/seal at carb cap. Might be kinda generic carb kit, a sno-mo might have a nut on bottom of float bowl for easy jetting/water drain. Did you get a new float needle and needle seat?

Yes got new needle valve and seat, new needle, pilot jet, and a selection of main jets, 220>250. cylinder according to machinst is secon bore thats why the range of main jets. going to start with a 240 for intial break in and running. then check plug after a few hours see how its burning(color).
