i just got a new carb off a used blaster and it is doing the same thing the old one was leaking gas out the overflow i have taken it apart and cleaned everything still doing it any ideas. doesnt leak while riding but if i stop and dont shut the fuel off it will start leaking again.

Did you check the float for the correct height setting?
Try that @ make sure you metering jet is clean & seating properly.

Thanks guys i did try giving the bowl a couple wacks didnt do any thing. i went ahead and bought this carb because the other one was doing the same thing could there be anything else should i just try getting a new seat for the float... also i did a little reading about fuel mixes. I ran last year on 50:1 amsoil dominater brand new crank and piston .. should i richen it up to 30:1 its a stock carb with a full dg exhaust which i know is not great but it was a basket case with that pipe when i got it for 100 bucks soi put it on.

Clean the carb completely. This includes taking the pivot pin out of the float assembly and taking the float and float needle out and cleaning it and the float passage hole. From there measure out the float height and set it appropriately. If it sticks, hitting the side of the float bowl typically unsticks it.

thanks again i think i will take them both apart and give them a good cleaning and see if that helps if that dont work i will do needle seat and o ring .. also might bring it to the local atv shop and let them give it a complete carb tune up .. last year i rebuilt the complete motor and took off the tors and the oil block off so it probably needs some attention to get it perfect.. thanks for all the info .
