Carb cable route

Im finishing up my build and have a question. The way the carb cable goes, it sits right on the head pipe. I cant remember if its supposed to do that or not, but it doesent seem right. Is it supposed to be that way? Or not?
Heres a pic of what i mean. (front of quad is to the left)

im pretty sure its not supposed to be like that wouldnt it melt to the pipe when it got hot have you asked chris about it?

I've never seen mine like that, but that doesn't look right because it could melt.

i might be wrong,but shouldnt there be a zip tie holding it up..like by the frame or steering stem? Hmm..i might have this problem to when i put mine back together..lol.

Some zipties got lost, that might be it. Thats what I thought though, and if it melts then the throttle is stuck and im f*cked. Ill rig it, just wondered if I was wrong. Thanks

no prob bro...but i am pretty sure it gets zipped...id check mine for you but its bare frame..lol.

it should be running over the top of that cross bar, next to the top of the top side of the gas tank, then it wont hit the exhaust
