Cant get axle out

OK THE 250R ISSUE.


I AM TRYING TO GET THE ROTOR COLLAR OFF.

ANY SUGGESIONS OR SOMETHING I'M DOING WRONG,

Get a big hammer and beat it off and if that doesn't work beat it harder. I am sure if you beat it hard and long enough something will happen at then end.

I believe they only have splines to locate them, nothing else to hold it on. I got mine out by beating the axle with a 4x4 by 1 foot block. Did you try some PB Blaster or some heat and quenching?

I've been scred to get to mean with it for fear of damaging it.

it is completely stuck i've tried hearing it soaking it and beating it.



any other suggestions where do you hit it?

not alil c clip hiding in the opening of that rotor hub is there???

looks pretty rusted which could be holding the hub tight.. work around the hub with a rubber mallet,or rubber mallat to the end of the axle

i've tried to beat it i think i have damaged the rotor hub at this point getting mad at it.
