thats right boys and girls the cr125 boyesen rad vavle came in the mail today and this thing is huge compared to my stock cage. its about 1/4" taller from where it sets against the intake to the tip and it is 1/2" wider than the stocker. this also came with an intake boot thats a perfect fit for my pwk35mm and a reed spacer. the reeds on it are worn but usable im going to replace them anyways. gonna turn my blaster from an asthmatic to a marathon runner.

eat up some pics. these really dont do it justice though

any pro's/cons of the huge single reed versus individual petals ????

^^^ from what i know and have read its actually more ideal to have the single read rather than the individual. but im thinking a downfall will be they may wear out faster i dont know though so we shall see

how much do u have to port the intake for it too fit????

you have to trim the edges of the intake walls and the cage itself. im not sure of the exact measurements though. i have a couple friends who are machinists im gonna see if they can work there machines in there and scalpel it out to the perfect size of the cage. that way its no weaker than it has to be

i'm gonna take a wild guess and say....if that was supernoobers rad valve, he'd have the dremel out already hoggin that biotch open even further, possibly sticking with the single pedal and removing all that criss-cross sh*t in there

u could always use some machinist blue die to mark the intake and use a carbide bit in a die grinder to do it if your machuinist buddys cant help ya. just make sure to use a fluid motion so as not to make divots in the aluminum

well i was hoping he would chime in (i know hes more of a morning member though) im gonna pm him and see what he thinks i might also speak with mr oconner and see what he thinks. ive never seen a blaster rad valve so i dont know if it is quite as restrictive. any of you guys with the la sleeve does that 250r cage have the criss cross? and is it as restrictive at the mouth

Mine may be different ,they were 90 cr125 reeds.I just mounted reed cage in a vise taped the petal down at the point and used a file and sand paper tape. This way i trimmed the reeds down to match the cage simultaneously. I took roughly 1mm of either side of the cage/ petals. On my stock intake i had to take out quite a bit maybe around 2mm on either side. When i used the '90cr intake boot it put the carb way to high in the frame. The crisscross is probably to direct the air to line up with the cage straight idk? My intake boot was different. awesome looking set up!!!

my thought was to basically eliminate everything that is colored in red. so open the opening to the reeds a little then clear out the criss crosses up to about 1/4"-1/2" from the tip and of course everything on the sides. do you think that will work well or should i just clean it all out? thanks for ur opinion and sorry about the crappy paint work it was just real quick
