it could. basically the only things on your bike that you need are the CDI box (5 wires coming out of it, small and black box), ignition coil, and the wires coming out of the stator cover. run the stator wires up the frame rail to the hood, and bolt down the cdi box, plug all the wires in. run a ground wire from the ignition coil, to the cdi. then, kickstart. no more oil light, no more annoying wires going to where the oil tank used to be, no more headlight, no more TORS, and all streamlined. also, please note, i have a 98 and this worked perfectly, any differences in wiring between 03 and 98, i am unaware of because i dont own a newer blaster, or a manual for a newer blaster. modify at your own risk!
