I have been searching around craigslist for a reasonably priced atv... Keep comming accross the blaster.

Is this a small ATV? I am 6' 230... Thinking it may be to small.

I have sat on the Honda 300ex and found it to be to tight.. 400 was perfect (but to much $).

Any suggestions? I was thinking that I should buy one with some mods to haul the extra weight.

welcome to the forum.. i am about 225lbs and about 5'11 and i fit pretty good .. u could cut the front fenders so u have a little more room .. or get a longer swing arm and some other good stuff ..

youll fit -- but i suggest getting race cut fenders, or cut your own, if you want some cheap mods though just for some extra umph (not calling you fat, im just giving a sugestion) i suggest getting your head milled (somethin like .020 or .025 or something like that lighten up your flywheel a little bit, drill holes in your airbox lid or just remove the lid all together, and get a K&N or UNI airfilter

you don't have to do any of this though, because it will still carry you without a problem

I am about your size, and I ride the Blasters just fine while I am test riding them for my boys. Even in stock form they are decent. However I will say if I am riding one and one my sons are on the other there is definitely a noticeable speed difference, and I cannot race them, because I get blown away. Then again I am carrying around a little extra padding "just in case I wreck".
