I was trying to get my flywheel off, and I damaged one of the wires on the coil on the stator, it is a Ricky Stator, anyone know if they sell any replacement parts for that. I really dont want to replace the whole stator if i dont have to, I sent them an email, but didnt want to wait for a reply to know if they do, so thanks...

you can just order a new coil from yamaha ($35+s/h), i don't THINK they're coil is any different ( lighting i think is for extra wattage ), the stators are just slotted for timing changes...

why don't you just fix the wire though???

its on the coil, and they have them rapped so tight that it is almost imposible to get the 2 ends back to where they came from, and if i could get the rickys one I would get the extra watts, which would be nice so my light is brighter

I just called them, and they said that they dont replace parts like that, I would have to buy a new one. Can I put a stock coil from a diffrent stator back on that, and use it like that?
