ALRIGHT before anybody jumps down my throat about, I know they dont have cams but my brother thinks they do, and i even showed him the BOTM and his still theys they have them so can you explain why there isnt a cam
2 stroke engines don't need valves because the intake and exhaust ports are directly in the cylinder wall, so as the piston moved up and down, it acts as the valve; opening and closing the ports.
the intake works on a reed valve that flaps on vacuum from the crankcase and combustion chamber. the reeds feed fuel/air/oil mix into the chamber and the crankcase.

If he still doesn't beleive you, you could always take the head off and ask him to show you where the cam and valves are. lol=))
