bypassing oil injector

Is there anything else I need to do to bypass the oil injector. I am thinking all I need to do is drain tank and plug the line. Also is a 40:1 fuel mix sound about right. Planning on doing it this weekend so please let me know if I am doing something wrong. Thanks Brad

you might want to pull the case off and remove the pump and gear inside, no sense in having the gear in there if its not doing anything, also u should run ur mix at 32:1, with 40:1 its a little rich

yes with the pump its a 28 to 1 but u can run 32 to 1 comfortable

go to the diy section and bypass the injector that way.
with the line plugged ur still pumping cuz the gear is still on and if its still hooked to the carb u will be pumping air and running rich *cuz air is in the pump
so just take off the oil tank and lines and clog the carb nipple like the diy says
