I had my TORS go bad (no spark) so I unpluged the Black - Black/Yellow TORS wire under the hood. Know the Quad starts but REVS sky high, and I have to shut it down. What am I missing?
The tors is set up to stop the spark if the throttle gets stuck open,Try there first i do not have my tors on any of my bikes and that is what happend to mine i would try there.
Well it's not the gasket, and I pulled the carb to clean / inspect it and everything seemed fine. Still revving extremely high like someone has the throttle pinned. Idles normal if I choke it? Any other things I can check?
When I rebuilt my blaster, my throttle slide wasn't installed correctly so when I used the throttle everything seemed fine on my end, but on the carb the slide wasn't moving it was just stuck open. Try reinstalling the slide see if that works.
I would assume it was running fine before you took off the TORS so I may be wrong..

It wasn't running fine before I bypassed the TORS, it had no spark, then I bypassed the TORS and it had spark. Now when it starts it will just rev to the limiter..... I've got to figure this thing out.
