TL;DR Hole in right case half below balance shaft. Tranny fluid in crank case. Repair or Replace?
Long story short, My Blaster started burning a lot of transmission fluid and lost compression last year. I parked it as I didn't have the time to do anything with it. Upon taking the cylinder off I noticed the crank case was completely filled with tranny fluid so I knew there was a hole somewhere allowing it to get in. I split the cases and found a hole just under the balance shaft of the right case half. Can this be repaired with aluminum welding or should I replace it?
