I bought a 2000 Blaster from some d bag and it stopped running 20 min after my first actual cruise on it. I tried to start it up and it sounds funny like the piston isn't moving. I'm guessing its the connecting rod. If so, what will cause the connecting rod to break? Bearings? I don't want to replace it and have it break again.

Also. If I'm running mixed gas, do I just leave the oil pump as is or do I take it out. (The lines are disconnected).

Thanks!

if you kick your kick starter and there's nothing there your looking at either a hole in your piston or a broken rod (not likely at all), as far as your premix question, if your not using the pump remove it, the tank and all the lines, plug your carb and block off the hole in your case were the pump was, i can't believe no one looks around for these silly oil pump questions, i bet there's one posted a day, oh well good luck
