breaks will NOT work!!

ok i have the older style mechanical breaks they work fine for about 2 minutes and you know the hole on the break pad were you put the tab or w.e you wanna call it? it pops out and than the break wont work do i just need to buy new break pads?:-/

im gona be puttin up a diy for hydro brakes, there will be pics with it as well so if you want and wait and you can do the hydros, there sooooooo much better :L
