on the older bikes when u upgrade the axle to a shee axle and shee brake hub and rotor set up what is preventing people from bolting the cable caliper back on?

the measurements dont make sense man.....i remember i had a hell of a time getting it to work....had to grind on the alum bracket and on the back of the caliper....it was off by a 1/4" or so....why not just get a bracket from awk and bolt on that gsxr set up
cause im having awk make a bracket for a diffrent style caliper but it needs to line up with the brake hub and rotor of a shee set up.
