brake problems

hey guys i have aftermarket trenga brakes, that arnt working to well. the brake pads are good but they arent braking very well. is there a way to tighten them or something?

I think the trenga units are the ones that specify only DOT 5 silicone brake fluid aren't they? If someone has topped the units off with standard brake fluid the seals have swelled up and the master cylinder and caliper would be very difficult to actuate and wouldn't stop very well at all.
