brake problem

well i was tightening my chain and doing some normal maintence around the bike, then i noticied on the inside part of my brake disc (2003 so hydrolic) that the brake disc had brake pad debri like smoldered on the disc, the outside looks just fine but the inside muct have been worn away, the inside brake pad was worn to what looks like GONE and the outside once again is just fine, im hoping and assuming that i put the brake pads on the wrong sides so they wore wrong, if this has happened to anyone else or if anyone has an opinion or something that can help please post thanks.

your caliper locked up, there are some pins that the caliper slides on so there is pressure on the outside aswell, take off the caliper and make sure the pins slide freely and grease them up, i have not seen the 03 setup so i am assuming they are like most other caipers, let me know if they are different.

thanks for the help, i can still use the back brake, but it may be where your right and it locked up and won't release all the way, thanks i'll check that out
