Well I'm not in ohio I'm in ontario so the price for small sh*t is rediculus lol the plug should look like a brown on the end am I right!
 
If I were you I wouldn't do EVERYTHING by the plug color. I mean yes its a very good way to check it but when you snap on the Blaster make sure it doesnt bog down because that really sucks and is a mistake that I made when jetting mine. But if you look at the plug it should be a dark color and wet but not light colored and like cooked on.
 
Its actually boggy when I first take off like it doesn't want to hit full rpm I let it warm up but someone told me to not let it ldle for long it carbons it up!but ya after when I get it into like 4 or 5 it seems to get better not sure I think its probly not getting anough fuel I think that's y my plug is going a bit grey!
 
clean your carb out.
also is it a bog or a hesitation? bog usually mean rich, hesitation means lean. this is for the pilot jet, not the main jet.
 
Hey guys so these boyesen duel stage reeds are they a lot better than the stock boyesens an will my bike be better on the fuel its super good on the fuel probly get atlest 300kms a tank or more I do lot of long hull with my blaster!
 
i am calling BS on the 300kms. that is around 185miles for the US folk. that means when the stock gas tank size of 2.4 gallons. you are geting 77mpg. even with the larger ims tank with 4.0gal capacity, that is 46.25mpg. that is not happening.
 
I would say a hesatation like it just make like a spurting sound untill it like warms up!I have had the carb off an was super clean idles really nice an revs right up but soon I I put it into gear it revs up but its like hesatates untill it get warm weird for sure but to me ya it sound like I have a fuel issue probly not getting enough!when I got this bike it had a full DG pipe an DG muffler but the jets were stock who ever had the bike before me should have jetted it with those pipes ya know!
 
Hey guys if I have to get a pilot jet do I go bigger or smaller or just try the main jet first an go from there I guess!
 
bump you pilot jet up a size or two too. also do all jetting changes on a warm bike. a cold bike will always not make full power and feel weird.
 
Ok guys I just ordered a 240 main jet an a 35 pilot jet well I guess I will c what happens I'm getting the parts from the yamaha dealership I should have them by friday they said so i will get back to you guys ok thanks a mill for the info!
 
Ok guys I got the jets but this bike is trippin me out ok with this plug chop I didn't chop it but I can see like a light brown were the electrode is comin out of but the metal arm that goes over it is like a greyish or so I'm not sure like its runnin really good!the temp over here is like -15 or more with the wind chill but it hasn't changed the color still same colour as it was in the summer hmmm but it not white on the end witch is good lol!the plug should have a nice brown on all of it for sure!now I wanted to ask u guys when I put these jets in am I gona notice a bit on the acelleration or my top end!
