Hey guys I searched but I need a bit of quick help. Ive looked at the videos on youtube as well. Im doing a bottom end on my 01 blaster and have the two new seals part numbers:

93102-25331
93103-32183

How can I tell which seal is which? I have the crank installed and Im kind of confused as to which seal goes on which side and how to install them. What I mean is should I put the transmission and everything together bolt together the cases and then put the seals in last after the cases are together or what? Sorry for the noob questions its my first bottom end

Ok so thats the one where one side is flat right? and then the other one that has is double sided goes on the clutch side by the crank?

Ok thanks im going to go in the garage and see if that makes sense to me, thanks for the help. If I have trouble ill be back.

Ya, I am on hold, to replace seals on the clutch side. I broke the clutch boss, trying to use other than the right tool. to take it all off to get to the seals. lol.

But ordered the right tool today. and will have to get a used clutch boss in the near future. so I can complete the work.
Hope you have good luck or the right tool, in taking off the clutch boss.

Sporty

Yeah I seem to have bad luck with things like that and trying to rig up tools so I bought all the right tools this time around. I just need to put in these seels and then im ready to put the motor all back together, its completely taken apart at the moment. The transmission is going to be the hard part I can feel it.

The trans isn't too bad just download the Manuel in the general support and it will almost fall together.haha.

THANKYOU the owners manual was a lot of help and had the diagram of the crank so I can be 100% which seal goes where. The crank seal went in just fine. But the one on the flywheel side went too far in one side, so I had to punch it out and it got damaged. Im getting a new one tomorrow and will hopefully have everything back together by tomorrow night. By the end of it it will be a brand new motor. New crank, bearings, seals, fresh bored cylinder, new piston, and the block off kit.

Yeah I bought the bike from a guy who let it sit in his yard, his nephew ran it without oil. Except the tank had oil in it so im guessing it failed. So I bought it and im rebuilding it. Kinda sucks that ill most likely have to sell it though because Im going to school in texas in a week.

Yeah I'll definitely ride it around a little before I sell it. I have a yz 250 I ride mainly though so Im not out of riding. Just dont have space for a quad at school.

Cases are getting put together today, the seal issue is overwith thanks guys. Blasterbruce if I had space in my truck I would be able to bring it all the way to texas for ya.

WOW I AM A FREAKIN IDIOT. Turns out I was right the first time and now I ended up switching the seals. Which means the ring for the primary drive gear wont seat where it needs to, which means I need to split the cases all over again get new seals and put new seals in, then put the cases back together. Im beyond upset right now...

blaster bruece im from california but go to school in texas I leave saturday which means this bike probably wont be done in time and will sit in my garage until christmas break.. not good.

ahh man sorry to hear man , I'm waiting on sealant for cases and gaskets and jets , I'm still a few weeks away as it is , Too bad you can't take it out there with ya

I know man, im trying to gather what im gonna do as of right now. Ive got two days to get it split again, take the seals out, buy new ones and install them and then put it all back together.
