Bottom end question.

Hey, recently something in my gearbox or something went wrong and now there is 3 holes in my casing right beside my sprocket. Do I need a new bottom end?
Will this work?: Yamaha Blaster Engine Cases motor side gearbox stock : eBay Motors (item 270568980189 end time May-24-10 13:04:57 PDT)

it's off a 2001 blaster and mines a 2004

Ya it will work but ya only should need the one side. I may have a good side for ya way cheaper than that. You can use the cases from any year.

I think YB was over there with a hole punch....

Maybe, but that auction is only for the case halves is what it says.

Looks like the balancer or the clutch hub broke......

Is that both sides of the motor?

you won't know until you tear it all the way apart

I think you need to take it apart first. As of now looks like you need both cases.

you're really gonna need to pull it apart.....assess the damage and decide if you're gonna fix it or get a different motor

You are right my bad.......... But I would still take it apart and find out what broke before you order any parts.
