Bottom End Question + Crankshaft

so My Daughter blew the top end - ragin in the dunes.

the Skirt did not break or shatter it looks like it was basically to lean.blah blah blha...

anyways do I need to split the case - nothing fell in to the bottom end from what I can tell.

second question ... the connecting Rod.
does or is it supposed to have a little play side to side or should it be "stiff" as in no side to side motion ?

I am new to the blaster somewhat but know my way around a 2 stroke engine allright.

yes its ment to have a little side to side play. and if nothing broke of your piston/rings/sleeve your good. just flush the bottom end out

what piston are u using? i had this problem and broke 3 stock pistons. then decided to use forged weisco no more probs ...yet. do u have the gasket between the head and exaust? dumb question but sucking in cold air will also crack that sucker

I decided to go with the Vito's Forged Piston. (its a wiseco) and yes on the gasket.
