ok now starts yet another winter build. i just started teardown tonight to find out where my air leak came from and thank god i cought it early enough to keep the moter from locking up. found a GIANT crack in the intake boot thanks to shotty work grinding out the boot to fit my 34mm carb "not my work". cylendar looks fine and same with the piston but my rings are ate up prety good but still need to take measurements to be sure. also have to build up my swing arm that most of you remember went to hell coming off of a table top at the local mx track. so now for the pics! whats up sam, been a while, good to see your rebuilding
bigger, better, stronger, faster ?????????
but you gotta resize those pics bro, or nobody's gonna wanna come on this thread,
either resize them before uploading, or do it on tinypic or photobucket ????
but keep 'em comi when you get it figured out

Yea I knoticed that their way to big but I used tiny pic so idk what else to do. Haven't been an for a while been workin and geting ready to go off to school next year. Been debateing on sending the jug and head to ken and walk around another blasty we all know. Also thinkin on building up for flat track. I will keep you all up on the progress and of corse the PICS!

kens builds have progressed even more since he did mine, so "walk" may be an understatement, he may even cry, < if he didnt when i told him that cb550 build is gay over at psj,
baaaaaaahahahahahaaa

and i use a small pic program called "irfanveiw, real easy to resize/crop pics, before uploading them, google it ???

Yea my 550 is also under construction too lol I got all winter to get both done. Humm cry I may have to hit up ken I would love to see that haha.

also wanted to say welcome back! apparently people are as good with a dremel as they are a welder!

i'd suggest a pro design or SMS intake for that thing to keep it from happening again.

can't wait to see this thing done and hitting it hard again!

The top is toed in a bit. Thing that realy gets me is that the tierods are all out of wack one the ends are all the way in and the other has adjustment left both ways.

My hat is off to all you that went over to blue traxx my buddy siad you guyes blew up the blaster pages I haven't been over there yet

Is the tie rod issue on the same side as the cambered in side? Might have taken a shot on that side. Spindles that are bent up on the top leg are quite common, causing the camber issue.
