i had an 87 banshee. did just about all you could do to it, twice probably.
i had access to a dyno, and we had questioned the bottle, around 95.
i was about to go to a trinity 2 into 1 carb set up, and bill, my race partner said lets
document the diff from the stock 2 carbs, the twin 34's and the single 54 carbs.
i can tell you for a fact, that with the stock carbs and boost bottle, we lost a 1hp
with the 34's, we lost THREE!!!! yes 3 hp!!!
going to the single 54 we gained 9 hp over stock.
now mind you, all this was tested with some seriously ported and polished jugs, and one of
the very first cool heads available, only had choice of 2 sets of domes.
also it was 10mm stroked and the cool head was shaved.
o yea, that banshee pulled harder then anything i ever rode till i got my raptor
4.25 gal of gas burned in less than 30 min!!!
like it was said, put a cork in that bottle and use it for a flask
