bolts

how do i get the swingarm off? i got the upper shock nut off but i cant get the actually bolt thing out, and i the left nut off(when sitting on the quad) but i cant get the long rod thing out either. can some people give me ideas to get them out?

I took a big phillips head screw driver put the tip on the bolt and hit the handle with a hammer it cane off with no messed up threads.

do i have to have all the pressure off of it?

Check out chapter 6 of the downloadable Blaster manual, it explains it complete with pictures. These shock bolts and swingarm bolt are probably just dry and stuck. Once you get the nuts and cotter pin off they will come out, some wd40 might help w/the shock. The swingarm may need to be tapped out with a hammer, don't mess up the threads.

Put something under your blaster to take all the weight off the swingarm.

do i need to put something under the frame and carrieR?

Something under the rear of the frame, let the swingarm just hang there. I normally take the rear axle and carrier off first but guess you don't have to.
