Bogging, CANNOT figure it out, any ideas???

Just out of curiosity, what would be some other symptoms of the crank seals going?

a bad crank seal will turn the exhaust white and alot of smoke (cause youll be burning tranny oil) but when my crank seal went bad i had no performance issue at all just alot of smoke.

how strong of a spark are you getting???
what plug you running?

Spark is perfect, right on, coil tests good, even cut a 1/4" off coil run and reseated plug rubber. I have tried 2 different plugs now, both new, think they are br8es if I remember? Whatever blaster calls for, get um from my local Yami shop down the road, gapped correctly, etc.

Like I said, put the bike in the garage, 2 weeks ago, after an awesome 2 hour rip, no issues, even rode it around the house into the garage from the trailer. Pulled it out last weekend and this gremlin was there... :-/

try settin the float way earlier than level with the carb body, thats how mine is liking it now, go you tube and search for carb tuning or float level, thats where i found a float level video about using a spare hose to blow through and run the float up and down to figure out where it's opening and closing, but im thinking im just reducing my fuel level to compensate for some kind of rich situation that i dont understand, im runnin the stock jet, 230, and have a uni filter, shoulnt be rich, ???, blue smokin a good bit too, fresh rebuild this year, and starts one kick so shouldnt be rings, and my airscrew has little effect either??? i also found last week that where the float pin goes thru the 2 aluminum carb posts, that the float had worn grooves and was hangin up, filed them down and it ran good, but adjusted float back to specs
and back to boggin again, im baffled too
one more thought for you, nuthin built a nest in your silencer did it??? mice will do that

Parking brake sensor maybe? That's kind of my standard answer for bogging problems only because it's been such a PITA for me on mine. It doesn't hurt to rule out the simple stuff either ;)

My park brake was removed/disabled with the swingarm extension, where is the sensor? Isn't that 03-06???

ok this happend to my bike... that little electrical box under the seet came loose lost the bolt and i had nooo idea and would ride get like half throttle and would bog and die so i had to put a new nut and bolt on to hold that box down so check and make sure its tight idk what its called but its a white box under the seet kinda ish

what electrical box under the seat??? you must be talkin 'bout some other quad, not a blaster

no i only own a blaster its not directly under the seat but it kinda is ill go chec brb
okita under the seat look toward sthe gas tank basically rite under it its white on my bike

eh? idk about that box?....but anyways hey try there are some of those weird electrical plugs just under the front of the rear fender...if one of those are plugged in wrong or came unplugged the bike will not run right...so idk on my 98 blaster it's under the left front flap of the rear fender....they are just like the headlight plugs...i remember those when i did a rebuild and plugged two of them in the wrong plug and it didn't run right and stalled every time so idk?

Okay, I am gonna assume the "white Box" is his TORS. I have completely disabled and removed mine, good to go.

The "bunch of electrical connections" by the rear fender should be the CDI connections for the Coil, etc, all looks good, even cleaned and reseated those.

No mouse in pipe. ;)

I have a replacement Coil on the way, just in case. Beings the ground wire is moved around alot while removing/working on the carb, etc, figured I would just swap the Coil out with new anyway...

Figure this has to be a firing issue, what else could it be? Think the CDI is shot?

I was told (by a bike mech) that this symptom could be caused by a bad stator. I believe that you just do a resistance check from the stator source coil to ground. Check the Blk/red wire (I think) at the spot where it joins the harness, just in front of left rear fender. Should be about 200-250 ohms. ....OK I looked it up, page 7-11 of the manual.

There is also a check for the pickup coil.
