blue 520 non oring chain on ebay for $22.00

wondered if anyone had any advice good or bad about buying this chain. My blaster has an o-ring chain so i didnt know about replacement thanks

0-ring will last twice as long as a non 0-ring but cost twice as much so its your call


i am running a non-0-ring right now and seems fine

what yb said, and i'd just make sure to keep your chain really clean and really well lubed if you get a non o ring, just try to help it last as long as possible

yea i have a non oring chain and mine has lasted awhile and is still good

OK thanks enough said i am going with an o-ring. Being stranded in the middle of the woods is something im going to try to do anything i can to avoid. thanks im such a newb i didnt realize the o-ring was much more dependable and longer lasting

they won't leave you stranded in the middle of the woods. You'll know when they get too loose. When they do you can knock a link out and run it for a while like that until you can get a new chain. There is more friction with an o-ring chain so you lose power to the rear wheels. It's a trade-off.....if you don't want to think about your chain for a long long time, go o-ring. If you want cheap and don't mind keeping it adjusted, go with non.
