Hey everyone my name is Josh I'm new here and have a few questions.

I'm trading my 86 Husky 400xc dirt bike for a 93 Blasty. Theres nothing wrong with the quad so I feel its a fair trade. Looks to be all stock

I'm not new to motorcycles at all just new to the quad's

Im 6ft 220 am I going to look like clown on this bike??? LOL

I read about flipping the front wheels to make it a bit wider? What all do i need to do to do this? Or it is it as simple as that.

I want to extend the swing arm. What would you suggest buying one or making one? Or what about that extended they sell on ebay?

What other plastics will fit with out a whole bunch of modding? Im ok with modding just dont want to hack something up? I would like to make the bike look and feel bigger.

I have more questions but I'll start with these,
Thanks in advance for your help

flipping the wheels is as easy as tht unscrew them and turn them around and the swingarm on ebay are fine they are nwere style and stronger than there old ones people may say otherwise but i run one for trails and mx and it holds up fine. banshee rears or just drill new holes and move urs back and maier make them for blaster if u want it to feel bigger add 22in tires and bar risers. also make it wider and longer

wow this is the first forum that I have ever been to that gave such a fast response.
Is there any thing on here about moving the plastics back?

I was thinking the race cut just to make it look mean. lol Ill be doing trail and track with a buddy.

Ill look into bars and risers.

what are some good mods to do to these bikes? I will be doing tires, bars etc but also would like to get some more power.

a pipe, reeds, a lot of stuff really. I have an FMF gold fatty with a power core 2 silence and boysen reeds .I love them both!

to start just bolt on stuff. But would like to bore it out and do some porting. Whats the most you can bore these?

I really like the idea of moving my fenders back. I cant seem to get the search to work any one know were to find the that info with pics?

I have been doing lots of research and theres lots to do to these bikes.

Do you guys have a place you prefer to buy your parts stock and after market?

I'm thinking I would like to just move my plastics back a bit. Is there a tutorial on here anywhere with pics? Or could someone send me in in the right direction? Ill try searching the forum again and see but if anyone could help that would be great

Ok well my search worked and I found how to move the fenders.

I'm thinking I only need to do 2inches What do you guys think?

Hey everyone Thank you so much for your answers and help.

Unfortunately the guy that was trading me decided to be a jack a$$ and sell the blasty underneath me so it looks like I wont be enjoying the blasty fun at least right now. if I can line up a buy for this husky then Ill be getting a blasty for sure.

I will still lurk around here as it seems like a great group of guys here

Thank You again for the help
