I put a new 28mm carb on the bit0h today and it will begin to run but woulnt stay running? whats the problem? I hooked up throttle, gas and both manifolds and on. So idk someone please help?

Is it a brand new carb, or just new to you? Could be dirty? Float stuck/not adjusted correctly? Check reeds?.... all places to start looking.
brand new off ebay, took bowl off floats dont stick now what bout reeds? what could be wrong with thoes?
yes the tors is unhooked, bout now like how do you know if float is stuck? if its stuck, it woulnt move up and down?
well you can blow on the main jet and move the floats, when they are up you should be able to blow right thru it but when the are lowered you shouldnt. thats not really helping you find out if they are sticking but it will let ya know if the internals are working.
^^ ok i dont think its the float sticking but i took bowl off noober, and like there was a bunch of gas in there? like that never happened before on my stock carb?
