Blaster VIN #?

Hey all, I've had my blaster for about 15 months now. It was a $400 Craigslist Find and I've put about $200 into it. I'd really like to find out what year it is since I didn't get a title with it and I can't find a VIN # anywhere. Any advice is Helpful!

vin # is on the lower frame under the shifter, then i think the 10th digit is the year,
i could be wrong on that, wait for another reply for the year

I heard the 10th digit thing as well.

Thanks for the info guys I'll have to dig around more in the morning as the only numbers I could find around the shifter was a 7 digit code on the engine. I checked the frame and couldn't find anything I have a full set of skid plates that i have on most of the time, could those have worn the numbers off?

yep its same as judging the year on a vehicle.. 10th digit is model year

If you post the VIN up I will tell you the year and also, the skid plates shouldn't have worn it off. It's on the side of the frame tube in front of the shifter. The number on the motor determines the motor year. If you post that up I will also tell you the year.
