been having issues turning my blaster on. Takes a lot of kicks to kick over even when choke is on. When the engine is warm enough it's a one kick wonder but when it's completely cool it's a real hassle. Any ideas what it can be ? Or is it just a normal blaster thing ?
Here's a list of my mods

Stock header/ silencer
Stock Yamaha filter
Stock air box with no lid
Borded to a 67 wiseco piston
Tors removed
Oil pump removed
250 main jet
Needle position is in the middle

Have not confirmed plug chop yet.
Leak tested it and my reeds gasket failed and possible stator crank seal leak due some fluid being in the stator cover. Not planning on running it till I fix the air leak issue. Thank you guys any help will be appreciated.

When you get it started, set the idle speed as per specs and then keep your thumb off the throttle when kicking it.

A well adjusted idle speed setting should start first or second kick.

When was the carb cleaned? Make sure all passages are clear and you can see through pilot and main jet.
Set float level.
Nice FAT BLUE spark? How does plug look? Consider new.

Reeds are still good. spark plug is kinda black maybe I fouled it ? I feel like my carb is out of place since I did a carb rebuild not that long ago....cleaned it with an air gun and brake cleaner. I was told I should go up to a 260 main size jet
