Blaster starts after 20 kicks

I have a 2005 blaster just redid the hole top end new pistons gaskets n head spark plug also checked bottom and was still excellent cleaned carb gas tank and put new gas it takes about 15-20 kicks to start and also have it chocked why does it take so many kicks to start

Ok and wht should it be at? I'll get one first thing in morn

For compression go to autozone and buy or rent a gauge. Then you screw it into the spark plug hole and kick it over full throttle till the gauge stops moving.
Reeds you take the intake off and inspect it, the petals should not be cracked or chipped at all, replace them if this is the case. If the reeds have a gap they will also need to be replaced.

Check the fuel flow from the petcock too.

for fresh rebuild should be at least 125 psi,also do a leak test

lots of people say below 100 psi needs work. Search leak testing, you should always do one after the motor is apart.

Fresh bore? Check pilot jet & circut, check choke circut, float level.

Did you have the bore measured before you bought your piston?
Did you have the cylinder honed/bored?

Up and running now it runs strong after first kick now after about 20 mins it bogs out

Choke was broke n not working correctly

it probably fouls plugs after 20 min. take the plug out when it dies and see if its wet

Not sure I went to a shop tht specializes in blaster a n told them I need a plug but the best thy had for mine jus was trying to avoid shop fees
