Blaster Spruce up!

Hi Guys!

Fairly new to these forums! Already headed over to the "introduction" section.

Ok so here's my blaster when i first picked her up. Strapped in for the journey home!:

Now with me having mild "OCD" haha, i couldn't wait to strip it down and leave my mark on it.


So the following night i proceeded to strip naked!

Filters removed ready for some TLC:

Left in soak for a few hours to loosen the dirt!

A few goodies arrived through the post:

Chassis de-greased and electrical system tidied up, connections checked then insulated with tape:

It seems i have an after market carb and the previous owner made no effort at all to get the stock air pipe hooked upto the carb.

Abit of trawling through ebay, this is what i came up with for a temporary solution:

Time to get it up in the air and get the air pipe fitted!

Another little shopping spree and i returned with these 8-|

Blaster ready to tow my mates chinese ting tong mobile & another blaster/quadziller with a KLF650 engine fitted which broke down!

Everyone back, blaster pulled 2 quads + 3 people! Impressive stuff!

Now its been for a few runs, time to drain and change the oil! Well what was left of it anyway haha!

good to see you taking apart and checking it all out before pounding on it hard.
 
nice looking blaster to...... im liking those shock covers although at my house they would like nice for about 10 minutes
