Well as some of you know I have been sitting with a busted A arm and shock, Slickerthanyou was kind enough to spot an add for me and alerted me to it, however my brother had already secured a deal...

My blaster is on the road to recovery

Hence forth, we have this to glorify the garage:

+2 wide +1 forward aftermarket YFZ450 arms (brand unknown??) standard travel

And nice bling bling tie rods :)

The top arms are fully adjustable and so this should be nice to iron out a bit of bump steer and adjust camber and caster.

In the mean time my brother got hold of a set of long travel +2 +1 arms for his 450 with a set of triple rate Elkas, (pics will come) so the plan is for me to use his 450 shocks, and sell my one good shock, 3 a arms, and his 4 a arms, as well as bunch of other extras we have to try subsidise the cost!

Seems like a plan, going to look mean

im not struck on the silver, i always like my blue for A Arms :) so will have to sort that out before I fit them.

Quite exciting, its going to make it ridiculously wide though...gonna take some getting used to!

Here it sits all stripped and ready for new bits, but some spring swapping, painting and new nuts and bolt admin needs to be done first.

Git R Done I:I

Blaner, by off chance do you know if the YFZ450r/x have the same geometry as the YZF that you took the original measurements off of? I still think this is the most cost effective way to improve suspension and brakes at the same time I:I

No, i do believe they have different geometry. i think the mount points for the a arms are closer together and the arms are possibly longer. You can follow the same principle, but you wont be able to use my measurements. the theory would be exactly the same tho!

You know, you pay either way for any sort of improvement on anything, either you pay with money or you pay in time. While my mod was cheap cheap money wise it took a lot of time, effort and perseverance. but it has payed off, I have a world of upgrades open to me by way of aftermarket 450 shocks and a-arms, also i could put on the 450 calipers.I:I

I knew the R arms were wider and don't know if the X is same or what. Guess the trick would be to find an R I could measure. Always thinking, and waiting for the right deal.

BTW, thanks for the input I:I
