before i joined the site i came across a post by iirc blaaster which detailed going up or down jets with individual mods ect ive searched for an hour now and although ive came across lots of other useful info in still yet to find the jetting post

tors has been removed along with oil pump and airbox lid all still standard running 32/1 premix or 40/1 im notsure yet as i haven't taken it out as its still on standard jets

Run a pre mix of 32:1 or better.

With a stock pipe , lid off and 32:1 you should be able to get away with #260 - #270 main.

Needle in the middle slot.

If you use an aftermarket air filter you may need to increase by 1 or 2 sizes.

Plug chop to confirm.

cheers guys in running stock pipe baffle removed from tail pipe , no oil pump or tors , foam filter no airbox lid and at the minute as i know standard jets main and pilot which ever is best 32-1 or 40-1 ill run what jets should i be looking at with my mods and with an fmf pipe also as i will be buying 1 soon but will be using beforehand

Right then chaps i have a #260 upto #290 in main jets on order with mods above and running a foam filter on the carb without the complete inlet boot and airbox removed and chopped out i will be plug chopping to confirm after refitting everything also if time and tools permit ill be advancing the timing via the diy route

many thanks again guys i would have made the thread in the jetting section but as its already been answered here ill carry it on as is

At sea level, this may help.

FMF = #260 main jet.

Aftermarket air cleaner + 1 or 2 size larger.

Air box lid off +2

32:1 pre mix +1

Needle in the middle slot.

32.5 pilot jet

Plug chop to confirm, as temperature, elevation and humidity come into the equation.

this is how i saw it in the previous thread i stumbled across while doing homework before i traded it lol

so with each mod blaaster i add the jets specified leave all else as is to clear it up ill be running

stock pipe , ram air filter on carb no airbox atall , premix 32/1 , tors removed
my rekoning is i should start at 280 main jet and go 1 up or down from their

cheers blaaster

i've never seen any blaster require anything above a 270 main without an aftermarket pipe, never. (not counting under 50f degree winter temps)
250/260 max for your mods. IMO
whatever you choose to start with, plug chop to confirm, rejet accordingly and plug chop until golden, then report back with your findings.

Stock pipe = 230
Air cleaner on ram tube no air box = + 2 or 3 sizes.
32:1 = + 1 size

Plug chop to confirm

If when changing to a FMF it will call for a #260 main to start with.

Just noticed the baffle is out of the tail pipe, that could need an increase of one more size on the main jet, as the back pressure could be changed within the stock pipe.
