Hello
I have a blaster that starts right up and idles fine but when you give it gas or try taking off it dies out un less i play with the throttle to keep it on, but then i cant get it to run in gear anyways, it smokes alot so i was thinking maybe too much oil? it was running perfectly fine after being parked for a summer and then coming down a hill it just shut off and it starts up but cannot rev it sounds like either too much or to little gas tors has been disconnected completely so i do not beleive that is the problem any suggestions would greatly be appreciated

regular two stroke smoke. no weird smells the crank seals are new so no oil going in it doesnt rev up high,

check that reed cage! also have you took a look at the carb if it sound like its not getting fuel could be it!

also after setting all that time did u change the gas or just run it?

i had the same problem make sure your fuels on and if it doesnt work in on turn it on reserve and see if it works and if it does then its your petcock or however you spell it

One or your reeds popped out or broke ... Guaranteed. The same thing happened to me, coming down a hill, let off the clutch while in gear and my blaster died. Turned out one of my v-force 3 reed petals popped out and was sittin in the reed cage. Thank god for the intake windows or my motor woulda chewed it up !

Thanks to all you guys for the help!!!!!! After deciding to get it torn apart to clean carb and check reeds i found a budweiser bottle cap in the carb that went in through the air cleaner hose starving it for air after removing it it runs like a champ... Thank you again and merry xmas
