blaster carb probs

Inspect the floats really well , floats can crack and actually fill up with gas and then they don't float and it will act like that because its getting too much fuel at the main jet but the idle circuit isn't really affected . If the floats are fine , you need to set the height correctly and to do that you need to do some reading and get a tool thats relativley inexpensive but will make the job easy ( ish ) . Needles and seats do wear out , typically the seat will look Oval instead of round and thats a tell tale sign of it needing replacement . I would check it all again , put it together in the stock form just as the manual says and start from there .

ok im going to pull it all apart again and start kinda from scratch and ill check the floats to make sure they're empty with no cracks...

any idea on what the tool is called to adjust the height of the floats? how do you know wut height to put the floats at? is it one of those things wer you go til if finally works right?

anyone on??? question, is gas supposed to kinda spray like a mist into the air boot (from carb)

It's called a ruler, lol. Get a nice steel one from the hardware store for a couple bucks. Make sure it has mm on it. The float should be set about 21mm from the gasket surface to the highest point on the float. I use a small screwdriver to bend the tang on the float.

Read the manual, link here >>>> www.rydindirty.com/blastermanual.pdf It has pretty good pictures. The important thing is hold the carb on it's side so that the full weight of the float is not compressing the spring-loaded needle. It should just barely touch when measuring.

No, not if you mean back towards the filter. Check your reeds, they might be damaged or bent. Yes, if you mean towards the motor...

TORS: You might not have it completely out of the circuit. Remove your hood and look at the tors box (Upper left box, above cdi) If there if a blk/wht wire connected from it to the cdi, then unplug it and tape it off.
