blaster build gone wild! pics also

OMG dude what do you do with an 8hp buffer???? That must be a 220v motor right?

yes its 220 and i use that for polishing steel before it gets chrome plated i sometimes use it for stainless work if im really pressed for time and need to burn some deep scratches out without sanding

and i see the front of a grand national in there lol.

the blaster looks awesome man, love the colors!

and on a side note i might be taking my little camaro 8.5 racing at KCIR next summer....

took the black powdercoat off with tal strip 1v then i used brown compound on my 1 3/4 hpwr double arm polishing motor after that i go over it with a flannel wheel and white rouge then just wipe it off with a rag

damn it dude stop steelin my ideas! just kiddin. unfortunately i don't have all the equipment you have. i started pollishin my f7 airbox a couple days ago. It looks a million times better, but you can barely see the "holagram" effects anymore but i didn't like them anyway. all i have to pollish with is a 6" grinder with a polishing wheel on it. hard to get in the nooks and crannys with that though. I just start with black then brown, then white, then green, seems to work pretty well but i should probably have a wheel for each pollishing grit? any tips? i love makin shinny stuff.

black and green are usually stainless compounds stay away from them all u should need is brown and white and yes definately use different wheels for each compound ill get a pioc up in a min of the cutting wheel i use with brown its called an airway buff and cuts fast as hell i can take red roloc sanding marks out with it

plus i jhad them make my airbox without that gay lookin hologram crap i told them save your self some time as im gonna sand it off anyways lol
