good old canisteo ny
i was wondering what else could i do to a 96 blaster motor if i were to get a 240 big bore kit, as far as stroker kit? would i need to get my head machined for a +3 stroker kit? any suggestions? or ideas of how to get more power out of the motor?

also is there any way i could bipass the oil injection, or could i get a nother carb tuned for the 240 kit and just premix the gas

If you get the 240 big bore kid you HAVE to get the oil injection kit. Vitos makes one. Also if you get the vitos +3 stroker kit it comes with a spacer so you dont have to get your head machined. i would get your head machined anyways....it will just be better performance. also when you get the 240 kit i would get a bigger carb get a nice pipe and intake. Also there are a bunch of different mods that you can do to make your blasty faster like timing advance. just search around the site...people on here have pretty much every set up you can think of.

I have the 240 kit and the +3 stroker. Any time you use the +3 stroker you need to have the ports aligned (240 or stock). Even with the spacer the ports are in the wrong place. Flotek aligned mine and did an aggressive trail port for me. I would highly suggest him to anyone wanting a great port job, he brought my motor to life. Even if you dont get the stroker I would suggest you get a port and polish, its the best bang for your buck. Porting will either make or break a 2-stroke. There are quite a few 200cc blasters that can blow a 240 away simply because the porting.

Other than porting, the oil injection block off is a must. Then a good pipe, V-force reeds, a carb (34-35mm), timing advance. Just remember your going to want suspension too. If not you'll end up like me. Sure it fast, but it rides like a mechanical bull.

check out this sweet stinger pipe for $269 you can get it for the 240 big bore kit as well

ok guys thanks for the info, never seen a blaster locally with a BBkit so eventully i wanna get some motor work done but i gotta get the chassis all painted up kawasaki green, or house of kolor candy organic green with a metal flake, and golss black

your best bet is to talk to your engine builder, they should be able to sit down and tell you want you need to do ect. ect.Setting up any motor with a stroekr crank(if done properly) will require machine work to both the head and crank cases(vitos 3mil needs no case machining)
