blast still won't run!! help!!!

id remove the tors brain and from the throttle box on handle bars! are u sure the air filter isnt plugged or somthing? maybe its getting to much air?

it runs but everytime i hit the throttle it bogs down, now if i ease on the throttle it picks up a little but i have to stay on it to keep it running

What needle do u have in the carb. Should be like a EEK or close to that. Or a DEK if you have a 240 kit. Also, did u splice the wires at the thumb throttle when you removed your tors system. If not, there u go. It will not run if u did not splice the wires. It'll just bog all day.

set your airscrew at 1 1/2 turns out and turn your idle screw in. keepin on the throttle to keep it running is keeping the slide up a little, which screwing the idle screw will do. if it bogs when you get on the gas a little your pilot is probably way to big.

^ i would say yes, to complete the circut, but im not positive, also make sure choke isnt sticking? and make sure slide is working properly! hope u figure it out soon

Yes on the tors wires. You want to splice them together. If u didn't, then that is more than likely your issue right there. It will run like dog caca, because the tors system is active. U can either tie them together inside ur throttle or u can cut the wire back a ways and splice it and then just tuck it in under ur plastic somewhere. That's how I did mine, it just gives it a cleaner look.I:I

u can order them, are u sure it just wasnt stuck in the cyclinder or inside of the pipe when u took it off? its just called an exhaust gasket

Ron Ayers has them. Here's a link http://www.ronayers.com/browseparts.cfm?SearchString=3PA-14613-10-00&adv=5&kw=fiche.ronayers.com

But to be totally honest with you, u should be able to just go down to your local shop and pick one up. It's also, probably not the issue with how your bike is running. It may loose a small amount of back pressure, but it shouldn't be enough to run poorly. The gaskets purpose is also to keep you from spitting all kinds of oil out the exhaust flange. If ur not spitting a ton of oil, chances are that gasket is still in the exhaust port of ur motor.

sounds like a rich needle ,is this carb new or some ebay special somebody had setup and reworked for alcohol i n the past ? you must figure out wha tneedle it is then report back what setting is it on ? o na blaster the needle is the key to good idle -midrange reponse and elimination of the bog

not the pilot ,not the main ...what is the needle whats the letter code on the side of it ,the needle makes all the difference ,there are hundreds of possiblites and it can be way off ..so have yo u tried leaning it out yet?
