Does anyone know where i can find some 10in or 12 in wheels to fit the blaster? want some more ground clearance for trail riding! keep getting hung up on logs and holes.

You will have to swap rear hubs witha banshee or other models of yamaha sport quads with same bolt spread then look for rims that come 10 stock . Not sure what models come stock with 10 rears. I think Banshee, Warrior, yfz 450 are the same rear hubs. Maybe other models to.

i think only the 88/89 banshees used a 10 inch rear rim, and those hubs are specific to them
but as stated above, what tire you runnin now, and you'll maybe find 22's for the stock 8 inch rims ???
but watch for heelgaurd interference

That's some good info awk. That helps me to.I want to run 10's at some point. I still have to check what tires are available for 10's. I want to run 20' rear tires.

i have 22's on stock rim and no stock heel guard clearance or nerfs but did get pretty close and ya theres a ton of clearance

that link to those sti's only lists front rims when you click the drop down

Think you'll find more options for 9in rims. I'm using Warrior hubs and rims with 22s, I flipped rims to get little clearance and width, 1in each side.

i got 22's on my 8 inch rear rims and i got heel gaurds on it and nerf bars and they clear it. even when i get going fast they still clear it. and i sit prolly 7 or 8 inches from ground. they do great with trail riding.

if you want the best tire you can get for the stock rims get 22" dirt devil tires. i ad a set before and i never got anywheres near bottoming out, in fact i barely ever scraped the rear skid either.
i have 22" front and rear on my bike right now. but not with the dirt devils. rides nice and high for the rocky trails near me.

I had 22s on one of my blasters and my friend has 22s on his and both of ours rubbed the heel guards. But they was the balloon type tires.

Im going to streach the swinger 4 inches i think so i can fit at least a 23in tire.
Hopefully that will make enough room.

what gearing are you running?
its gonna take a toll on your clutch if you go much bigger than 22's out back
aggressive 22" will be hard enough on things

its got a 82 xs400 motorcycle engine not worried about power. just clearancance. Its got 16/37 gearing right now, going to a 15t front sprocket soon.

i dont recommend going any more than 20inches in the rear, you start destroying handing, and performance considerably and significantly increase ur clutch wear, anyone who considers a 22inch or bigger tire needs to sell their blaster and buy a honda foreman 4x4 haha

been there done that had a 02 rubicon. This is a cheap build into it for about 600 bucks so far, verses the 7K for the rubicon.
