Best way to convert 89 blaster to front and rear hydro brakes.

Ive read a couple posts on here and I'm kinda confused so i would like some clarification. What is the best rout to convert my 89 blasters brakes. All the help is appreciated

For the front, you would need spindles from a 03-06 blaster, calipers, hubs/discs, master cylinder, brake lines. Spindles for those years are getting hard to find and can get pricey. Ken O'Connor makes a conversion spindle to convert your existing 89 spindle to run the new hydraulics set up.

For the rear. You would need to find yourself a 03-06 rear bearing carrier, master cylinder, pedal, and caliper. The carriers are hard to find to and can get pricey. AWK08 is a member on here, and makes a kit to run hydraulics on the rear, utilizing your 89 stock set-up. They are awesome. Unfortunately he's not making them at the moment.

However, I parted my blaster, and have a lot of what you would need. I have all the front end parts, except the spindles. And I have a AWK rear set up with a steel braided line. These parts need to go, and I would make you a great deal. Good luck!

I just got hooked up with all the parts for the conversion except for the spindles which I will be trying to grab here in the near future thanks for all the help.

I've posted a thread here yesterday I found a great deal about 80$ for the fronts they parted out an 03 with 10 hrs all the parts are mint. I'll see how much the spindles are and post here for you.

Yea best bet would be the kor spindles that's the route I was gonna go before I bought an 06 now I never ride my 02 figures..... lol
LOL yeah the KOR spindles are a def that is when I get the extra bills to get them. I appreciate all the generosity on here. Hopefully as I learn I can repay all the info the was given to me.

I looked at it this way well when I get my new debit card I'll be subscribing lol basically if this site has saved you more than 10$ I feel it's an obligation lol. These guys have probably saved me hundreds of dollars and given me some of the best info known to man :)
