Bearing spring???

A round spring fell out sometime when i was taknig the bearings and crank out my motor> i didnt notice it until it was sitting on my table. Im not sure what this spring does and where it goes??? does anyone know what it is and where it goes? and if its even needed?? I cant seem to find any info aabout it in my clymers manual. heres a pic of it, hopefully the link works haha.

you shouldnt need the spring if you got new seals...FYI--those marlboros will make you look like a 2 stroke too!

haha a coughing 2 stroke! but yea, i found the new springs inside the seals. i didnt notice them at first.
