Banshee Shox

I just bought a pair of banshee shocks and installed them today. It is a softer ride.
I took a stock Blaster shock, jammed a screwdriver in it, put my weight on it, and measured 1/2" of compression.
I did the same with the new ('06) Banshee shock and it compressed 3/4".

Hope that helps....

i know you want banshee shocks but wouldnt it be better to just get some yfz 450 shocks i know there more expensive but wouldnt the 450 shock perform much better??

YFZ perform better than banshee but those arnt a direct bolt on. You would have to get the Diamond J widening kit w/ shock conversion. Plus you can get banshee shocks for $30.00 off ebay and YFZ are well over $100.00 probably more. If you have the money to get YFZ front shocks then, its cool to spend the money. Its the difference between a $30.00 shock upgrade or $300-$400 dollar shock upgrade. Diamond J kit is $220.00 Plus $100.00-$175.00 for the shocks.

hey specialized7 where did you find the banshee shox for 30 bux
I got my unused '06 Banshee shocks off Craigslist for $40.00. I prefer to transact locally.
But yea, BansheeHQ has a bunch of good reputable members that sell parts. There is a feedback forum so you can check out their transactional history.

FeeBay is OK too.

Hopefully no worries on dropping the BHQ name here...I drop the Blasterforum name there too!!B-)
