I just got my banshee front shocks on. I think one has a leak, when i compress it one comes up quickly and the other slow. How do I remove the springs to double check the shock itself? I know the stock all you do is compress and remove the retainer, but i don't see one. Do the tops unthread maybe?

I have asked many people how to remove banshee springs from the shock and some say you can, some say you cant....My local mechanic said that they were not build to take apart...And from what I have seen looking at them I dont see where you can take them apart....If you do get them apart let me know how you did it so then I can PC my Springs.

Well they don't have a leak after all. I bounced on the bumper and it started working, must have sat for awhile. I couldn't find a way to get apart. The only way I see would be would be to grind the notches off where the preload adjusters are. The factory must weld those on last.
