Banshee axle carrier question

I am converting my son's Blaster to Hydraulic rear brakes using Banshee parts including the axle carrier and I have a question about the carrier. The one I bought on ebay has it's mounts narrower than the Blaster's carrier. I was under the impression the carrier was a direct fit, is this not the case? For now I will center it and shim it using washers. Are there differences in Banshee carriers?
