banshee and blaster

yeah , thats the easiest way to swap to the banshee axle , because you have the whole assembly and the brake hub is correct . if you get the banshee hydro brake as well you got a sweet set up.

no the banshee carrier will not bolt up. it will fit, but you will need to make spacers and its not a very good idea.the banshee axle is a direct swap though if you have an 03-06 blaster or a banshee brake hub.

some flat washers or something. i just wouldnt trust it. and alot of other guys wouldnt recommend it either. im sure they will chime in.

Put the banshee axle into the blaster carrier. It's a direct swap as long as you have the 03-06+ blaster. If not, you need to get the banshee brake hub and a carrier rebuild kit for the 03-06+ carrier. The difference is the right oil seal (the one the banshee brake hub fits into)

no. a 03+ brake hub or a banshee brake hub. if you want, i can go take a pic of the banshee carrier and the blaster carrier against each other so you can see the difference

A banshee axle will fit into any year blaster. The problem is, the banshee used a floating caliper and the '88-'02 blasters used a floating disc. The axle seal on the right side of the banshee carrier (or 03+ blaster carrier) is made to seal directly to the banshee (or 03+ blaster) brake hub. If you tgry to use an '88-'02 brake on a banshee axle the brake hub won't seal and mud can go right inside to the bearings.

No matter what year model blaster you have, the banshee axle will bolt in but you've got to have the brake hub and seal to match for it to work properly.
