Just to share a little insight on my problem, my Blaster won't run for more than 2-3 minutes at a time. It's been cutting out intermittently ever since the wiring from my stator melted onto my exhaust. I've tried replacing every unit but am all out of idea's. My charge coil is in spec, the pulse coil seems to be working fine by may have some damage due to it shorting out. The only other thing I can think of is my ignition coil. I have 2 of them and according to the book, there are two ways to check to see if it's in spec via the primary and secondary coil. On both coils, the primary coil is out of spec. One is slightly higher (.21) than it should be and the other is lower(.09). The thing is, when checking to see if the secondary coil is in spec, I'm not getting a reading from either ignition coil. I was thinking that this may be the problem with the bike but wanted to confirm with you guys. Could someone check their ignition coil to see if it actually gives off a reading?
