the easiest way to remove the axle is with proper maintanence... being well greased with good seals, it should only take a good tug and slide right out.

agreed 100% i added a zirk fitting to my rear carrier and when i went to put the lonestar in my stock axle fell right out, my daughter could have revomed it.

Im changing out my carrier, and bearings and axle etc. Im interested in doing this. Whered you put it?

just put it like on top of the carrier, drill a hole, and you can usually get self-tapping zerks to make it really easy.
